It was, I believe, the first Adamas CK let go from the factory. There is a list of them somewhere and all the big names they went to.

Re: String Question

Hey Scott... First of all...Thanks for looking in on us and joining! And you are absolutely right about Glen's popularity in England. It was HUGE! Strings...wow...I have never ever thought about that one. I have always gone with the string that best complimented my Ovation, acoustically. I will hit ...

Re: True Grit 50 Year Celebration in Ridgway, Colorado!

Your guess is as good as mine! May have just been a rehearsal! I doubt they let photographers on the set with all the camera angles... In the movie...they do not start that scene from that point...it is closer to the grave. It typically only snows in the upper elevations during October ... but it lo...

Where is the snow? I wonder if they took this during a rehearsal. Or maybe there is a blooper here. Gotta pull out the DVD.

Just as I had expected...

Cowpoke, you are all over it. They had enough room on that last CD for all of those songs. Maybe it is tied to royalties...
I am with you...I don't know who the picker is, but, imo, they could have done a lot better.

Review: Glen Campbell, “The Legacy [1961-2017]”

As reviewed by The Second Disk on June 26, 2019 https://theseconddisc.com/2019/06/review-glen-campbell-the-legacy-1961-2017/ Glen Campbell’s career-spanning box set is modestly titled The Legacy, fitting for the unlikely superstar from Delight, Arkansas. While The Legend might have been equally appr...

Re: Glen Campbell's Ovation 1624 (Proto X014)

Just my observation about Glen's use of a nylon. Once Jerry joined the Goodtime Hour, Glen seemed to gravitate to nylons quite a bit more. Glen using Jerry's Baldwin, with its Prismatone caused quite a stir at Ovation, which in turn probably was the catalyst for Ovations hurried development of a pie...

Re: Bruce Springsteen pays tribute to Glen Campbell, Jimmy Webb on solo album Western Stars

The first track off a forthcoming solo LP, “Hello Sunshine” is Springsteen’s precisely-calibrated throwback to a particular style...
