Re: Has Anyone Ever Attended a "Goodtime Hour" Taping?
Yeah it was always pre taped. When Glen had another fan club where we would rec newsletters it would give days of the week when they would have the run through of the show, when they would do blocking of the show and the dress rehearsals then the final taping. I don't think any given show was more t...

Re: Your Stories and Memories about Glen
I'll bend your ear with one more story before I close. Ellie and I had met at the Nashville airport, this would have been 1988 or 1989, Glen was performing with the Nashville Sympany. We went to the concert early to find Bill to get backstage, this was his 2nd show on Saturday night. Here comes Glen...

Re: Your Stories and Memories about Glen
As I had posted under the Goodtime taping post about my Glen Pal Ellie she was in Vegas for one of Glen's shows always a front table person and always went backstage. They were backstage after the first show and Ellie said all people celebrity and common people were milling around and the phone star...

Re: Has Anyone Ever Attended a "Goodtime Hour" Taping?
I was never able to attend a taping but a good Glen Pal who went all over the US following Glen did. Her name was Eleanor Kruseur from Milwaukee. I'm not sure when it was, or who the guests were but the only thing she told me about it was during the rehearsal Glen excused himself to go to the bathro...

Re: Discussion of the Week: I'm Not Gonna Miss You
I think never defined who I am relates to how multi talented he is. No one can ever say he's a country preformer, no one can say he's a pop, rock n roller he's just so multi facated performer. I remember back early on someone ask Glen what kind of music does he perform and he said "people music...

Re: I'll Be Me
Hi Ya'll Got to see I'll Be Me last night and it was wonderful. This film you can cry, laugh, and remember along with Glen. That corny joke he has told for years I can still jump as high, just can't stay up as long. How many times have we heard that and he'snot forgotten it either. I thought it was ...

Re: Love the Memories!
Hey Dee & all No Dolly wasn't there or at least she didn't come on stage with Glen. Sometimes Dolly is there but she's not seen. Anyway Glen was there a 2nd time that I know of in 1999. I remember that year for sure as that is the year I lost my mother in August and Glen was at Dollywood in Sept...

Re: The female Glen Campbell
Barbara Mandrell!!!
Remember she was country when country wasn't cool. She went to LA had her own tv show and like Glen brought alot of country to
LA. She made a movie of her life story, toured all over the world but now retired she lives in Tennesee.

I've got so many many memories of Glen but the best backstage visit was at Dollywood it was probably around 1989 ...
