Re: Does Vinyl Rock You, Too?

Dee....I took your advice & sniffed my 1970 Glen Campbell "Galveston" Vinyl......it smelled kind of like, well cleaning solution & cardboard. -- Siblis Siblis, I am sorry you were disappointed with the "sniff test" on a 44-year-old album. I guess the vinyl didn't stand t...

Re: Searching for a special song.

Didn't think of the holiday songs! That's right!

Rock-A-Doodle came to mind today. I think this CD is hard to find.

Re: What other music are you listening to?

I love Celtic Woman, Mike ! They have performed in my hometown many times since they formed their group. Yes, don't they give a great performance of Jimmy Webb's "Moon"? I wonder what Jimmy thinks of it... Albert Hall and the Royal Philharmonic orchestra! It doesn't get better than that, d...

Re: I'll Be Me

Yes, Siblis , this all makes sense. I wonder if there will be a PAL format for fans in other countries? Cowpoke , thanks for the review from The Tangential. I think it is one of the best reviews I have read of the documentary. How about this statement from the reviewer: "The musical performance...

Re: Questions About Collectibles

Hi, Arlw,
About the Debby Campbell cassette, does Debby know how many cassettes were produced/sold? A 100? A 1,000? More?
How rare is this cassette in comparison to "United We Stand", the cassette with both Debby and Glen?
Thanks,
Dee

Re: Does Vinyl Rock You, Too?

Ravensfan , I can understand why you prefer CDs. CDs don't require as much "upkeep" as records, that's for sure. To tell you the truth, I love my vinyl albums, but rarely play them! It's easier to pull out CDs to play, and CDs are also easier to clean. Thanks for joining in this discussio...
