Re: Glen's Music Videos Through The Years

Hey Randy, don't think that's Billie she didn't have dimples and that girl had cute dimples. I too had another meaning of Phoenix in mind that
didn't have 2 girls just the one he left behind after telling her"time and time again he would really go"

Re: Glen's Music Videos Through The Years

Cowpoke thanks so much for the video's I loved them both. Glen was so young, but into his 30's, but with that
boyish face. Really enjoyed these. Is there any info on the girls in the Phoenix video. Both pretty.

Re: Autograph Help please

With the albums autographed by Glen that I have I would say you got the real thing. I know most likely when he had more time and was signing some really important things, but what is more important than an album, the signature migh look different but I would say you got the real thing looks just lik...

Re: The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour: Christmas Specials

Just got my DVD this week and watched it the night I got it. Brought back some really good memories. Felt kinda like I was 14-15 again and watching it for the 1st time. Got to admit there were tears at 1st knowing that Glen would never be able to do this again and that if he saw this he wouldn't kno...

Believe it or not we have an oldies country station that I listen too and sometimes I still get to...

Re: Discussion of the Week: the first GC song you ever heard

Hi All, Had to be either Phoenix or Gentle and it was in 12/67 on the radio. Didn't know of course who Glen Campbell was at the time but come the next summer in 1968 I found out. At the time being as young as I was I couldn't stay up and watch the tonight show, Joey Bishop and all that so I never ac...

Re: Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb

I did now about those concerts and would have loved to have been at one of them. But when I found out the only tickets that were left were way back from the stage and still there at a price I couldn't afford at the time. Can't recall how I found out about the concerts but as they say if I have of kn...

Re: Alzheimer's treatment

Did anyone but me see the repeat Saturday night on CNN of IBM? They had commericals in this one and it was almost like that kept the film running while the commericals were on and then just went back to the film. Left out some things like when he went back Billstown/Delight to see the family the onl...

Re: Notices of Artists’ Passings

Thanks for the info on Steve. I too remember him from the 80's and have a CD from concert Glen did I believe it was around London or Scotland where Steve did I'm so lonesome I Could Cry and it was a wonderful job he did. I think there was also a DVD of that concert but for the life of me cannot reme...
