Circumstances Surrounding Glen's Time with the Beach Boys
Glen and the Beach boys.jpg A lthough Glen probably had no idea at the time about the circumstances surrounding his invitation to join the Beach Boys, it remains a part of his and their history that is examined periodically. <<Any resources for maintenance on the tuners>>
If you need a tuner replacement...just keep your eyes open...they are available on the secondary market from time to time on reverb and ebay.
Or give Al a ring at www.LostArtVintage.com He may have some stuck back in a drawer somewhere.

Still is a sweet guitar and is an acoustic cannon. yep...I would run it through a couple of weeks of humidifying. I would then probably let a luthier take a look at it after that and get his opinio...

Re: New book: The Wichita Lineman
I like the "lineman" on the stark road...but it seems like he is on Mars.
Cowpoke...let me know if it is worth the read.
A whole book is pretty incredible.

Re: String Question
Here you go ... These guys were coveted by diehard Ovation fans. At one point, not too long ago, most of them had a known owner. Now, I bet the location of very few are known...in fact, one of them "kind of" popped up about half a year ago and when the owner found out how rare it was and w...

It was, I believe, the first Adamas CK let go from the factory. There is a list of them somewhere and all the big names they went to.
