ACM Awards 2018 Glen and Willie nominated again!

It was certainly an honor for the late Glen Campbell and Willie Nelson to be nominated for their duet (that was actually recorded separately by each artist at different times) on 'Adios'. Unfortunately, they lost the ACM Award to Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban for their vocal event, "The Fighter".

GC would have been thrilled for Keith Urban's win. (You may remember that Urban made an appearance in Glen and Kim's documentary, "Glen Campbell I'll Be Me". See Urban's quote from the doc below.)

They highly respected each other's musicianship. Check out this video of Glen and Keith performing together on stage in Las Vegas in July 2009, during Urban's "Escape Together World Tour". I believe Randy had posted this clip on these forums several years ago and now the vid has over 1.3 million views! (You sure can pick 'em, Randy! ) Wow...2009...funny, how time slips away....
