Thanks for posting this new link, Randy! It was fun to watch different performances of the same songs and also Ashley's sheer enjoyment for performing!
You know what I noticed about Ashley singing "Remembering" at The Wolf studio?
She sang with her eyes closed at times--just like her Dad. First time I had noticed this similarity. Really getting in deep with the song's meaning.
Ha! Nice of her to exempt Eli! especially because he plays so well!
Like "Better Boyfriend", "Looks like time" has a humorous kick in it, too. :)
I was trying to think of other female songwriters who write songs like Boyfriend and Time, but I am not coming up with songwriter names other than Dolly Parton.

And another in studio performance of "Remembering" , "Looks like time", and oh yes "Better Boyfriend" at 101.9 the Wolf.....At least Ashley is willing to give fiddle player Eli and exemption .. :D

This appears to a direct link to the station , so I can see where it could change. Maybe we change the link if it changes

Thanks, Randy!
I am right there with you about Better Boyfriend, I believe Ashley will have a home run with this song!
Its premise is unexpected and the lyrics are catchy and humorous. It got laughs in the Skype Live Studio.
A music vid would be super!

Appreciate your excellent reviews of the other songs/instrumental; I will listen again tonight. (You know how I feel about Remembering.) :)

Great links Dee!!!

"Better boyfriend" , IMO is a potential hit . I would strongly consider a video for that one and " Looks like time" is right there with it. Both big potential songs in my opinion.

Love her "Gentle" version also with her banjo solo , and also "Carl and Ashley's breakdown" which strongly shows her banjo playing ability.

Vocally, I think she has a beautiful voice, and really love her guitar playing also. I never once heard any mistakes. And the "friend" (sorry I don't his name) playing the background fiddle is a perfect accent.

And as for "Remembering" , I consider that to be the 2nd best song of 2012 in all of country music, right by "I'm not gonna Miss You" at number one.

Randy just posted a salute to Ralph Emery from 1990. During this program, Barbara Mandrell says "One of the things that pleases me is to be able to watch the children of country music legends establish their own careers and still maintain a deep respect for their parents, their famous parents." Her statement reminded me of Glen Campbell's children.

Absolutely outstanding news. Speaking for myself, when I hear a great song, I wanna see a video of it. More importantly, this will give her more exposure on her road to what I think will be stardom. I personally feel that one song has her qualified already...

Website for Dillon Campbell, Glen Campbell's son from his previous marriage to Sarah Barg
http://dilloncampbell.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
From Dillon's bio page:
They say the best art and creative expression stems from trauma. For singer/songwriter Dillon Campbell, the artist’s journey has carried him through the h*ll of drug abuse, bi-polar disorder and the healing hand of hard-won rehabilitation. As the son of legendary singer Glen Campbell, music is in Dillon’s DNA; but he’s never been one to rest on his family laurels, forging his own unique musical style which has been heralded for its emotional depth, distinct lyricism, and brooding melodies. With influences ranging from David Bowie to Paul Simon to Interpol, Dillon’s message is a simple one: when you’re going through h*ll, keep going! His drive and resolution have proved a living testament to this mantra, and with Dillon having mastered his illness and already performed his songs at over 200 shows across the country, the best is still to come.
One of Dillon's recorded performances, a song written for his Dad--"Letter from a Son"--was posted below last February.
Check out his website's video link to see more performances!
