I'll Be Me - The Documentary

"I'll Be Me" opened the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival on Friday, October 10th (http://hsdff.festivalgenius.com/2014/fi ... _hsdff2014" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Staff Writer, Wayne Bryan, with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported on this event, noting that around 30 members of the Campbell Family were in attendance and that James Keach spoke to the attendees about the film, explaining that he made the movie Campbell wanted made.

Keach is quoted as saying:

"Here was a man who was told to hang up his guitar, go home and enjoy what life he had left...but he wanted to sing, laugh, make love, play music and celebrate life until it was taken from him."

"There were ups and downs (during the making of the documentary), but the highs far outweighed the lows...."

"Glen was full of love and light, and even in the darkest of times of his confusion, he always showed signs of his true self."

I can't recall when I've heard the audience applaud a movie, which happened at this show, nor watched so many dab their eyes and hug each other as they exited. It was a very moving documentary.
