Check out the official Glen Campbell I'll Be Me facebook page for photos from the doc's screening in Little Rock. Gotta love Gerald Campbell for wearing a GC t-shirt at this event!

Check out the official facebook page of the Ron Robinson Threatre in Little Rock for pictures and even a short clip of Glen's family singing Amazing Grace after the movie.

Cowpoke that was an outstanding review. Again yes love can be seen with your eyes. Yes Dee, I'm afraid I'm in one picture. Hat on my knee, next to the guy with the beard. I visited with the super friendly Gerald Campbell a minute before the show. What a nice man he his as is all the Campbell Clan. I see Kelli Campbell in on the pictures , also of course Gerald right across from and me and sorry I can't remember all there names but as I said the Campbell Clan and friends were really represented.

Thank you, Randy, I think you beautifully captured the essence of "I'll Be Me"! The doc could be subtitled "A thing called love", couldn't it? I'm glad you mentioned that Jerry Reed song. Yes, I agree with you...I could feel the love in the movie theater when I saw the film...and the standing ovation after the end of the film was spontaneous and warm--audience members broke into applause and rose to their feet--.

When I saw a three-minute preview of I'll Be Me last March, the audience had a similar reaction. This was at LeadingAge's Great Minds Gala -- and not so many GC fans were there; it was mostly people who worked in the health care industry and in the US government!

I'm so glad you got to see this documentary with so many members of Glen's family and his friends. Talk about a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Did the film makers mention anything about when the doc will be released more broadly? Are they still aiming for a November release date? I assume that the film is finished now and that they are just using it for fundraising and Alz's awareness until the big theatrical release?

Thanks for a heartwarming review and for the welcome back.

Also the "I'll be me" title is perfect.

No actors,

Glen Campbell plays Glen Campbell
