I'll Be Me is still being screened in movie theatres, in this case, two years after its premiere in Nashville!
The 24th season of Banners at McNeese State University has been announced. "Banners at McNeese" is known for its annual series of concerts, exhibits, lectures and educational programming that has provided the Southwest Louisiana community with easy access to exceptional arts and humanities events unique to this area. The 2016 season will once again feature several events, including popular musicians, entertaining family performances and award-winning films. ... Banners is also teaming up this year with Cinemark Movie Theatre in Lake Charles to present four film screenings throughout the season."
One of the four films includes "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me" - April 12, Cinemark Movie Theatre, Lake Charles, 6 p.m.

This video, created to promote an upcoming event called "An Evening with Kim Campbell" in Lexington Kentucky, uses segments from I'll Be Me together with excerpts from a previous talk by Kim Campbell.

Biggest thing to me about the documentary was a clear "affirmation" by Glen's fans that they clearly supported Kim's "decision" for the farewell tour which is unarguably agreed on by his doctors , and also the attention brought forth from the documentary in the fight against Alzheimer's. Bottom line- a whole lotta love is clearly on display. And that love continues to transcend and touch people regularly.

A timely article (with consideration to the U.S.'s annual "Groundhog Day" event):

Trevor Albert talks about his films "Groundhog Day" and "Glen Campbell I'll Be Me" in today's Chicago Tribune.

Glen's doc does bring up a lot of different emotions. You'll know when you are ready to watch it, Tony.
I don't know if this info would help you, Tony, I haven't heard of a Glen Campbell fan who regretted watching it.
There are likely some fans who did regret it, but haven't shared that feeling here on the forums or on the official I'll Be Me movie facebook page.
When you do watch it, please know that you can talk about it with other fans here, if you would like to.
To all members, what scenes did you particular appreciate in the film? What did you learn about Glen Campbell that you didn't know previously? Were there any scenes in the film that you felt could have been left out of it? Has this film changed your life in any way?

"Glen Campbell I'll Be Me" remains one of the most popular films broadcast on CNN. Another blockbuster film, "History of the Eagles", aired on CNN on 30 January 2016, and was watched by 1.35 million viewers. After "Eagles", I'll Be Me continued to hold on to its ranking in popularity on the cable network:
Among the 21 CNN Films and five CNN Films Presents features that have aired to date on the network, Saturday’s premiere makes HISTORY OF THE EAGLES the third highest-rated among total viewers (after CNN Films Presents Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me and CNN Films Blackfish) and fourth among viewers aged 25 to 54 (after CNN Films Presents Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, Blackfish, and Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine).

I can only say... I was glad I did see it. It was sometimes hard to watch but overall the feeling was one of gratitude, pride, joy and even... laughter.

I haven't seen "I'll Be Me" yet - not sure if I want to. But, again, a part of me wants to.

Out of the tens of thousands of films rated on Rotten Tomatoes, an online movie rating site, "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me" is one of only about 400 films that achieved a 100% percent score (as previously reported here!) by film critics. Glen's film is now listed in a dedicated Wikipedia article along with other films that earned a 100% critical rating. (The earliest film to obtain a 100% score is "A Trip To The Moon" released in 1902.) Here is the link to this special Wikipedia list of films: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_f ... n_Tomatoes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(From: http://www.avclub.com/article/get-fresh ... ies-231209" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

:arrow: Note: Fans and other viewers can still vote (a review is optional) for I'll Be Me on the Rotten Tomatoes movie site! Give Glen's documentary 5 stars! Let's raise that 88% Audience Score to 100% -- to catch up to the Critics' rating! Go here to vote: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/glen_ca ... ill_be_me/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

See You There!

Great reviews for I'll Be Me continue to come in, don't they? Love it!

Our Rhinestone Cowboy's "I'll Be Me" documentary continues to remain the highest-rated film in both adults 25 to 54 and viewers of all of CNN's film presentations:
#1: Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me (first broadcast on June 28, 2015)
#2: Blackfish (true story about the killer whale that tragically killed its trainer; aired October 24, 2015)
#3: STEVE JOBS: The Man in the Machine (aired January 3, 2016)
(From: http://cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com/2016/ ... on-sunday/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Also, another new commentary on both the "I'll Be Me" and "The Wrecking Crew" docs as well as other music-related films:
