Hi Dee,
here's another one you might find interesting. Did you know Glen played on the demo version of "Do the Clam" which was recorded by Elvis Presley? Glen didn't think Elvis would record it, but he did (and it turned out to be a hit).

Hi, Arlw,

To my surprise, I did find that there was a connection between Walter Brennan and GC. Brennan appeared on the GC Goodtime Hour on January 4, 1970 (rebroadcasted May 10, 1970).

On this program, Mr. Brennan sang "Old Rivers", which Glen described in his introduction to Brennan as "It's a song I just love."

Brennan's "Old Rivers" was released in March, 1962. Do you know if Glen might have been a session player on this recording?

If anyone is looking for a picture of Glen with Bobby Darin in the studio it can be found in the Darin Biography "Bobby Darin-A Life" by Michael Seth Starr. It is in the photo section in the book. The caption states it was shot during the recording of the "Your the Reason I'm Living" album in 1962.

Thank you for posting your session documentation, Arlw! I had no idea that Glen's session work was so extensive and so varied! (Ex. Walter Brennan!) Many thanks to you and the other forum members who have worked so hard to document this work of Glen's!

@ Cowpoke, I have really missed your posts lately and just noticed this one.

Could it be called a trotsky or a bowel bangar? :D
