Glen was on BBC4 again tonight. The documentary "Rhinestone Cowboy" and the 1977 Festival Hall concert is being shown at 1 AM GMT
I only caught the last half an hour of the doc but I must say its a great watch, even after 3-4 views.
Lets hope the BBC put together other programmes like the music show etc.

A real treat for Glen Campbell fans!

Glen Campbell on "The Chris Isaak Hour", original air date March 12, 2009! An outstanding interview that was originally broadcasted on U.S. cable television's Biography channel. Music performances by Glen Campbell and his band that included Ashley, Shannon, and Cal.

About doing this show with Glen, Chris said: "...I hadn't played with Glen Campbell before, and that was a thrill." (http://laist.com/2009/03/05/laist_inter ... _isaak.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Ever wondered how it would sound if 20 people with guitars would play and sing Wichita Libeman together?

Yes, thanks for sharing these stories siblis. There is a christmas concert recording floating around on the internet from 1998:

Christmas Concert, Live at the State Theatre, New Brunswick, NJ, November 27, 1998

I wonder when Glen started doing these christmas concerts. Where they something that originated in the Branson Days?

On this archived page from Glen's old website, you can see that in 2002 Glen still did a christmas tour.

https://web.archive.org/web/20021208070 ... endar.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

December 2002

3 Pembroke, NC Givens Performing Arts Center Christmas tour begins
4 Wytheville, VA Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre
6 Morton, MN Jackpot Junction Casino
7 Napierville, IL Pfeiffer Hall
8 Ft. Wayne, IN Scottish Rite Auditorium
10 New Wilmington, PA Orr Auditorium
11 Richmond, VA Carpenter Center
14 North Branch, NJ Raritan Valley Theater Christmas tour ends

Who else attended a christmas concert by Glen? Please share your stories!

Dee....as far as I can remember Glen was backed by a Choir and a Band inside of the Church.....I know it was taped & I tried for several ys to get a copy of this Show, it never panned out....it was the same yr that I saw Glen perform outside in Ocala the yr I moved to FL. It took several hrs tro drive down there, but we had just been married, so life was FUN....you know what I mean???

Thanks for sharing this great memory, siblis.
"Not your typical Glen concert" -- how fortunate for you and your now ex-wife to have been present for this very special Christmas concert / event that included Glen's "Oh Holy Night".
Did Glen sing solo or was he accompanied by a choir?

Dee...I was all the way in the back of the church behind the last set of pews, no pictures, I could barely see Glen, but the sound was GREAT. Glen sang mostly Christmas songs & some Religious songs...my Fav for night was "Oh Holy Night"!! Dee...this was not your typical Glen Concert, it was a Christmas event & everyone was dressed up, so my ex-wife & arrived in sweats & shorts, when we saw the atire people were wearing, we did a quick change in the car...lol oh....how I miss those days
