I always look up when it comes on.

When you look at #2, then it puts 3-500 in perspective.

Rolling Stone listed their top 500 greatest songs of all time. Glen's only song at #206 with Wichita Lineman. Gentry's Ode to Billie Joe is #191 and Elvis' highest rank at #70 Suspicious Minds. He only had 2 other ranked listings.

These have been seen many times before but they're still fresh in the mind. 3 video clips of Glen singing Elvis:
'75 video of Glen in full colorful jumpsuit doing Teddy Bear

From Shindig '65, singing Trouble & Surrender

A video mix of Glen & Elvis doing So Lonesome I Could Cry

Chet and Jerry I can live with at a higher position than Glen, the others… not! 😁

Uhm, Roy Clark below Mrs Carter and Willie Nelson. Willie great songwriter. Ok singer. Marginal guitar player for a professional. [...] buck owens could run rings around a lot of those folks.
Of an article last month, Hello Music Theory ranked Glen as #12 for the greatest & most famous country guitar players of all time:
