Interesting covers, Cowpoke! Thanks for posting. I'll look for Main Ingredient's "Philly soul-style covers"!

Hi, Randy -- are you familiar with Cinema 150 in Little Rock, Arkansas? I just heard that it will be demolished. Such a shame...an unusually-shaped theater with so much history and great cinema in its past.

According to a KATV news report today, "True Grit" premiered here. Did you attend the premiere by any chance?

This news report showed very brief film snippets of Glen Campbell at the premiere: http://www.katv.com/story/27807065/icon ... -next-week" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ashley and Shannon Campbell are recognized as "Celebrities Made in Tennessee" in Tennessee's 2015 Official Vacation Guide (p. 13)! A brief article mentions their performance on the recording "Orthophonic Joy: The 1927 Bristol Sessions Revisited". Carl Jackson and Vince Gill also receive recognition in the guide as well as other Music City musicians.

We will be discussing these new Bristol sessions here on the Glen Campbell Forums soon!

Interesting article Cowpoke.
My daughter gave me a book about song writing for a Christmas present and it talks about this subject in great detail.
I have always loved Jimmy's way with words. Especially The moon's a harsh mistress, which is so poetical. I could name so many more but I am sure we all have our favourites.
Perhaps when Glen sang the line "I really don't mind the rain" from Rhinestone Cowboy, he used to think of that concert in Michigan state fair.
On a separate point regarding the use of words. I have to keep correcting my comments about Glen and re- write my comments in the past tense.What a sad realisation that is, of Glen's condition.

Hi, Randy, thanks for posting that link to the book, Michigan State Fair, and the reference to Glen. Nice find!
Glen was the ultimate professional entertainer, wasn't he? The show must go on, despite pouring rain!
Happy New Year to you and your family!
