Re: New DVD / CD Releases

Does anyone know the first release of the Dome concert was on CD before all of these reissues?

Yes :D it was already in 2009. Here it is! https://www.amazon.com/One-Summer-Dream ... +one+dream" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It is not labeled very well but it is the same CD as the one you mentioned earlier with 3 random studio tracks. and also comes with the DVD (also not mentioned) which is close to the same tracks with a few replacing the few studio songs on the CD with a few more songs from the concert. In the DVD you can see Glen playing his guitar throughout the concert and even some vocals. Both CD's are from the California special but on amazon it says it is from a 1984 concert. I would recommend it for Glen Campbell fans!

Part of the Jan and Dean California Special was uploaded to YouTube; we had posted the YT link in response to Cowpoke's inquiry.

Has it been officially released on DVD then since you posted in the "New DVD / CD Releases", Beach?

Dee wrote:Thanks, arlw! If it is the Dome concert, then, darn it, this concert has been released previously:

January 21, 2014 Glen Campbell Love & Live

February 2015 Glen Campbell Access All Areas (with PAL formatted DVD)

1991 Glen Campbell Live at the Dome (this is the CD that was supposed to have 28 tracks but only has 14 -- Australian pressing)

1999 / re-issued October 4, 2005 LIVE GLEN CAMPBELL

and maybe...

April 10, 2012 Glen Campbell Rhinestone Cowboy in Concert

There might be more!

Not to mention all of its reiterations on VHS and perhaps DVD. Except I don't think there is an all-region DVD release of it?

However, I will probably buy this new CD, too. Maybe it will have all 28 tracks! (I agree, arlw, the picture on the cover of this new one is great!)

I have this live concert of Jan And Dean on DVD and Glen Campbell plays the guitar throughout most of the concert!

Beach questioned:
Does anyone have more info on Malibu Sunset! It seems to be quite unknown to Beach Boys and Glen Campbell fans alike! What is all kknown about the song. The only info out there is that it was a demo from July 1963 with Brian WIlson with Glen on lead.
Heres the song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofGmc6bFuio" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
From arlw who previously answered this question on the board (note that YouTube removed another video with the same song, same write-up on YT):

Rob, one can dance with melancholy, but I don't recommend it. :D
Good catch! Thanks for picking up the wrong year for "Astounding's" release: it should be 1964, not 1963 on the Blowin' in the Wind page on Wikipedia. The year is correct on Glen's discography page (studio albums) and its associated page dedicated to the album.
