I believe the singer is Buzz Burnam (with whom Glen worked occasionally in his Albuquerque years). Buzz also sang on a Dick Bills 45 rpm single from 1953 "Ole Dusty Sun". Buzz' band was called The Rio Rangers, not to be confused with Texas Slim's Rio Rhythm Riders! And Dick Bills, before he came up with The Sandia Mountain Boys, had a band called The Rhythm Riders! Rare (to me) photo?
Rare (to me) photo?
Came across this while looking around for images of a certain relic'd Stratocaster in Glen's hands. This seems to be a picture of Glen and a band rehearsing/performing in the paint department of a hardware store. (??)
I've played in front of stores, and even on stages set up inside stores, but never like this.
Question- is it authentic? Can anyone add any info about it?
The guitar does look like one Glen had in those days...
