Thanks for those Jimmy Webb links Cowpoke,
I listened to all the songs and I must agree with rickv404, they do sound like demos. I would imagine many were intended for 5th Dimension albums or similar pop groups. The production is very basic and Jimmy sometimes sings way above his range, as if to give a feel of how the song should sound. It is a great bit of music history here but I would only buy them for the collection rather than listening pleasure. I have been buying some of Jimmy's later production albums like "Suspending disbelief" and "Twilight of the renegades" They have several tracks I had not heard of previously and many hidden gems which I am really enjoying. I also love the piano work on these albums, they take me to another place, beautiful to listen too.

Good call, rickv404! Demos!
I was going to post a question on Jimmy Webb's forum to ask for information about these releases--until I saw that members had already posted about it.
Posters are saying that the "demos", as you identified, are ones that Jimmy did for Audio Arts before changing labels (1966?).
Interesting!

Glen Campbell fans should be so lucky to see 4 volumes of (never before released) demos one day.

Sounds like demos and not very good compared to the finished songs. Think I'll pass, though there's a lot of good songs there.

Thanks for the tip, Cowpoke!

Here is a wonderful interview (audio) with Jimmy Webb about his tribute show to Glen Campbell -- I got goosebumps listening to it, then tears.
I want to see this tribute show, but I think my heart will break to be there.

Check out the article's gorgeous photo of Glen and Jimmy taken by a long-time fan and friend of the Campbells, Sandra Gillard (who actually appears very briefly in "I'll Be Me").

By the way, I saw that on Spotify, Jimmy Webb released 3 albums, Legendary vol. 1, 2, and 3. Among the songs on it is "Just another piece of paper", which Glen did in 1970. Interesting...

Here you can listen to clips of the songs.

Thanks, goodtimemattie!
I shared your link with one of Jimmy Webb's leading discographers, "Erik the Dane". He actually tracks all of the artists who have performed Jimmy's songs! Erik will appreciate this cover, too.
Have a good holiday,
Dee
