Have NO info about first time, they was together.

BUT maybe someday Jimmy Webb and family, can relax a little more, and tell us more.

NEW cd with Jimmy Webb in April (last info) and Jimmy is on way to Japan for concert from 13th February 2013.

It seems like Glen and Jimmy first appeared together on the Mac Davis show, february 1975. Did anyone ever see this or possibly have it on tape? Erik, do you know about this appearance?

Correction: it seems that - based on old newspapers - they also appeared together on the Steve Allen show in april 1969! But for both shows I don't know if they actually performed together...

1967: In January month, Everly Brothers put out a J.W. tune, ”She Never Smiles Anymore”, recorded 9th December 1966, out on a vinyl 45 vinyl.

Later in 1967 to ne found on album ”The Hit Sound Of The…”.

In 2006 came out a expensive cd / dvd box (8 cd`s – 1 dvd) on Bear Family Records, with titel ”Chained To A Memory” (1965-72), BCD 16791 IM, include original issue of ”She Never Smiles Anymore”, plus alternative take of same tune, plus a not before issue J.W. tune, with titel ”When Eddie Comes Home”, recorded as early as 8th November 1966.

Both tunes is with strings, and include is also

GLEN CAMPBELL

on guitar, and more members from famous studio group The Wrecking Crew.
