That picture of the telephone line with the lyrics of Wichita would make a great poster.

Those are some great thoughts too Randy. I hope Glen
still remembers how much he is loved by his fans.

That is a great thought and Jimmy is the one I would want to do it. You know what I still think about the time I met him in Branson. He came up and talked to my wife and I, just like we were old friends. And I still think about all the love from his fans on the Goodbye Tour. Be willing to bet we could form a long line of fans just wanting to give him a hug right now.

Thought of the day: would Jimmy ever write a song ABOUT Glen?

"To me, there’s always been like a divine plan of some kind in place that brought Glen Campbell and I together, which was definitely one of the most important things that came along in my younger years. It was as though he had been waiting for my songs, and I had been waiting for someone to sing my songs."

Yeah, Suspending Disbelief is a great record. I also think he sounded pretty good on El Mirage (1977). I feel producer George Martin did a wonderful job in presenting Jimmy's compositions and voice in the best possible way there.

Siblis,

I agree, Jimmy doesn't have much of a singing voice. His vocals were probably best on his CD "Suspending Disbelief". A great record.

Jimmy Webb was & is a great songwriter, but I never liked his vocals at all. I cringed at times trying to watch him sing on the "Huckabee" show.
