Confirm today 10 hours or so ago!

Jimmy is in Denmark on world famous art museum LOUISIANA 18th February 2011.

I am very glad!

Without my dear IVAN PEDERSEN, I was NOT able to do it!

NOT so much more to ad at this time, it is all so new to us all - and I / we have ONLY less that 6 weeks back, before J.W. arrival Denmark.

Maybe Jimmy will speak at the concert, a little about when Glen Campbell and J.W. meet or other story`s.

I am the "concert promoter" for this first ever danish Jimmy Webb concert.

sincerely

There's both a 9 min. video interview and 46 minute radio show to listen to at this link if you're interested of a recent JW interview/performance.

As I said before, in my mind it's not a question of either a Julian Raymond project or a Jimmy Webb project. To me, the ultimate (to speak with Keith Urban) "killer" album would be Glen singing and playing, Jimmy writing the songs and the orchestral arrangements and Julian producing.

Jimmy after all never did produce Glen in the first place. It was always 3 persons: Glen, Jimmy and Al de Lory (or Jimmy Bowen). In all honesty, as much as I love MGC, the songs on it do not reach the dizzying heights of many Jimmy Webb songs. Maybe that's one of the reasons it was such a consistent album. It did not have a Wichita Lineman or a Still Within the Sound of My Voice to put every other song in its shadow.

Some of the recent additions to youtube with JW and GC singing together at the piano show what a great sound they can still make.

I still think the MGC and the new project have much more potential to put Glen back on the map again.

However I think JW and GC would make a more relaxed and nostalgic album that would be less hard work for Glen as the bond is more natural.

I think it would have less commercial success and be more for the established fans.

JW said something about a low budget album.

Is this where an album is made without big promoters and the cost of using copyright material. This would be much easier for JW as I assumes as a songwriter he can avoid a lot of copyright costs.

I still think the big projects with Julian were the best moves Glen took.

But a smaller project with JW would be great for the fans.

Anyone interested in Jimmy Webb's songwriting craft may consider joining him and Jesse Winchester and some 70 other people on a Californian train ride from LA-Oakland in January 2011. Read about it at http://www.flyingunderradar.com/rails/FT11LO.htm.

I've been on a few of those trips, very rewarding, as you connect with the guys in ways you wouldn't ordinarily do.

From yet another Dane, Jens.
