I think these 3 videos belong in this topic:

Part 1, 2 and 3 from Ovation's 40th Anniversary DVD "Unique Voices". Take a look at the history and technology behind Ovation guitars, featuring long time Ovation players such as Al DiMeola, Melissa Etheridge, Kaki King, Steve Lukather and Glen Campbell.

And here's an outtake with Steve Lukather and Glen Campbell, one of my favourite youtube videos, as I am a fan of both artists.

Ovation started producing guitars in late 66 and went into full production in 67. Kaman took one of the first Balladeers to Glen during that time and Glen loved it, endorsing Ovation in 68. So you probably can see the transition from Mosrite to Ovation during that time on the show.

I maybe wrong, but I trhink Glen started using Ovation Guitars when the the "Goodtime Hour" started. I don't think he used them on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Show or the Summer Show & any footage I have seen of him in the early to mid 60's he was using another Brand as well.

To start it off, here's a link to the wonderful pages Wayne Reid made about Glen's guitars for the glencampbellshow.com website. Luckily, they have been archived by archive.org.
