I was at the folk club the other night and two guys came up and played Highwayman. It amazes me how many times different people have played that song at various clubs. But this was a first on a banjo. It was nice because there is a banjo on Glen's original recording of the song.

I am very likely wrong about the following info because I don't have a good eye for identifying Glen's instruments.

The banjo seen in the black/white photo (excerpt above) with Glen and his stable of guitars ((could be)) the brand new banjo given to Glen by John Stewart of The Kingston Trio.

Could the banjo played by Glen in these two videos be the same banjo as the one in the photo?

I also have a photo of Glen playing with Roni Stoneman et. al. on the same show (first video), but in the photo Glen is playing a guitar!
