Dee,
I don't know about Glen playing on Up,Up and away.maybe one of our experts could tell us that for sure. I'm just full of hot air.

Maybe Janis Ian should rewrite her song for Mike. Because the planes above Mike's house "Fly Too Low"!

Wait a minute, that wasn't a hit in the USA. So in case you don't know it...

Needless to say the airport authorities weren't very sympathetic to my plight. Perhaps I should right a protest song, see if that does any good. "How can I sing a song of truth, if a 747s fly over my roof" (Mike Joyce)
Mike, you've got the beginnings of a great protest song here! lol

You might also consider recording an album covering flight songs, leaving in the sounds of the passing planes (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!) Let's see, you could do:

Learning to Fly (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers)
Watching the Planes Go By (Elton John)
Flying (The Beatles)
Airstream Song (Miranda Lambert)
Given to Fly (Pearl Jam)
Aeroplane (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Leaving on a Jet Plane (Peter, Paul and Mary)
and
the #1 song that represents your plight:
747 (Lady Antebellum) -- just released!!

Suggested bonus track: Up Up and Away (not a plane song, but because you are a fan of Jimmy Webb's.....)

Dee :D

Hey, did Glen Campbell play guitar on Up Up and Away? Mike? Anyone?
