Just installed chromecast on my t.v. which basically turns it into a "smart t.v.". The reason doing so was so could watch netflix and use either my p.c. laptop, or smart phones to control it wirelessly.

Another added bonus is if you are using the google browser you can install the add on extension chromecast to it and also YT is supported there.

So now can stream Glen"s videos on you tube there to the big screen if I choose.

Just thought I would pass that along and I suspect there are some here already using it as I am usually behind times.

Randy, thanks so much for sharing your time saving tip for screenshots! I tested it on a PC with Windows 7, and it worked perfectly. I will use it often.

Thanks, too, for suggesting this great idea for a topic of discussion at the Hitching Post.

Here is a newly-learned tip that has saved me a lot of time. I use the "Ctrl" key and the letter "F" key on my keyboard to open up a search function to find something quickly when I am reading an online article that may or may not reference Glen.

First, I open an article that has been posted online.

Then, I press both the "Ctrl" key and the letter "F" key at the same time. This action opens up a small search box. In Windows 7, this box opens up in the lower left hand corner of the computer screen.

The search box has both UP and DOWN arrows. I type in "Glen" or Campbell" in the search box, then click on the down arrow to find each reference to Glen or Campbell in the article.

It's a helpful way for me to determine if Glen is mentioned in an article that may or may not include info about GC.

Cowpoke:: yes sir, that is what i'm talking about. Love the minimize trick ,,, it's quicker and gets u right to the desktop.

Anyone wanting to do the screenshot,,,
press the windows key and printscreen at same time and it will look kinda like it took a picture then it will be saved to your computer
Think there may be a lot of variance on this tho as apple/mac may be different and laptops may be different...

Really like the imgur.com site as I can post a screenshot ,,,, then copy n paste that link in less than 30 seconds....
And you do not have to join.

Thanks, Cowpoke

Great idea Randy. That is what the Hitching Post is for!

I now understand the problem with that link I gave you. Because it uses https (secure http) the security certificate has to be checked and blurtonline's is not up to date.
So, you gave the right solution in giving us the link without https!

Here's an old trick I still use. Hit the windows button (the one with the windows logo on it) and the "m" key at the same time to minimize all your open windows at once.
