Re: Glen Campbell on YouTube and Other Video Sites
Don't know if this song is posted in this forum-but I just found it on YT-Glen's version endeared the song to me as a teenager so to find this now is especially meaningful and I can only pray that Glen's fans here will be as blessed and encouraged by it as I was

Re: Glen Campbell on YouTube and Other Video Sites
May I add my thanks as well for posting the entire Farewell Tour concert from NJ? As with so many of you, I didn't get to attend a show, so this was a real treasure. Thanks again!

And another one with a funny guitar lick I don't remember running across before. About the 1:02 mark

Outstanding shares, Randy.
Those rockin' live performances by GC on Austin Encore are really special. I had not seen those clips.
Especially loved the jazzy "Gentle On My Mind" performance and Glen's flying fingers on William Tell Overture -- and his interaction with TJ. TJ's talent doesn't receive sufficient recognition in general imo.
Great interview, too.
Thanks so much!

Re: Glen Campbell on YouTube and Other Video Sites
Not a song by Glen, but about Glen. Recorded for the 1987 album Spring Training by Carl Jackson & John Sterling, called Arkansas Farmboy.

Thanks for posting these rare videos, Cowpoke!
The second one below, "Call Home", was posted by breautube (forum friend, "Hair"). This is a rare clip from a two-hour, Bob Hope-produced variety special created in tribute to General Jimmy Doolittle's 90th birthday.
NBC declined to broadcast the show because they didn't think a tribute to a war hero would have appeal to television audiences in 1986. It was finally picked up for syndication by Tribune Entertainment Company of Chicago.
It starred Bob Hope, of course, Dolores Hope, Glen Campbell as emcee, Rich Little, Phyllis Diller, Don Knotts, Shirley Jones, and Jack Jones, with tributes by Jimmy Stewart, Lee Marvin, George Burns, Charlton Heston, Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, and Johnny Carson.
