Mort Drucker passed a couple days ago. He's the caricature drawing artist of MAD Magazine. Here's one of Glen, which featured a MAD spoof story "True Fat", written by he and Larry Siegel, from issue #133:
https://madtrash.com/character/002064

And I saw other caricature drawings of Glen, that may have not been seen by others. Due to some copyrights, I have the links to these other great sites.

The Loser's Lounge in NY, founded by Joe McGinty, where local talent pays homage to the pop stars of the past and a few times pit one artist vs. another. One such instance they did Tom Jones vs. Glen. Here's a caricature drawing that was for the event. Need to scroll across to read the info:

A story behind this caricature, when in New Zealand:

From Randy Bish, editorial cartoonist tributes Glen with the caption ..And a smile can hide all the pain:

A three caricature drawing by Walter Cumming (WordPress):

Bryant Arnold does a variety of caricature drawings. A part are tributes to a few celebrities who passed and done in great taste. One of Glen:

And from Drew Friedman, caricature of Glen and Charlie Pride. Need to scroll about halfway down to see Smothers Brothers with Glen under it:

Fil Henley, frontman Wings of Pegasus hard rock band based in London, does a full detailed analysis video of various performers guitar playing skills on YouTube.

He does about 10 or so of Glen. Other analysis are of Gentry, Orbison, Springsteen, Elvis and load of others. Just scroll down after search. They're about 10 - 15 minutes each, shows the performers song and analyzing during and after. This guy knows the guitar.

For example, Glen's William Tell Overture -

Gentle on My Mind -

So many more. Open YouTube and search:

Scroll down to see all of his analysis of Glen and other performers names.

I came across this website of 5 audio covers of Glen Campbell. Link is at the end of the text. Some may have heard of these.

One I found interesting is Isaac Hayes doing an 18:51 version of By the Time I Get to Phoenix. You need to scroll down towards the end page for the countdown. Others are:

Aretha Franklin - Gentle on My Mind
Lemonheads- Galveston
R.E.M. - Wichita Lineman
Radiohead - Rhinestone Cowboy

It should open when clicked, or do a copy/paste to open browser.

A pretty cool GC tribute radio show from 2017 with some very rare early singles. Thanks MileM!

Wow that's a great interview Randy. Very interesting to hear how Glen's last recording session went about. And of course about the demos Glen used to make. Elephant Ears was his nickname because he could hear a song and know it in 10 seconds.
