I had not noticed before but Glen's former bandleader/guitarist Jeff Dayton is also part of this tribute! This concert should be pretty awesome, with Jeff, John Carter Cash (son of Johnny Cash), John Hartford's son Jamie, and some other songwriters of Glen's songs like Chris Gantry who wrote "Dreams of the Everyday Housewife".

Kacey Musgraves is a huge Glen Campbell fan. Maybe she will do a Glen Campbell song!

Perhaps a song of Glen's will be on this special CMA program tonight, November 3rd:

"Countdown to the CMA Awards: 15 Songs That Changed Country Music With Robin Roberts Preceding the award show by two nights, this new special focuses on classic country tunes spanning artists from Hank Williams to Taylor Swift. Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Hunter Hayes and Kacey Musgraves pay tribute to their idols. 10 p.m. ABC"

This is pretty cool. A songwriters' tribute to Glen Campbell, in Nashville.

Blurt Online republishes their 2011 interview with Glen Campbell, in tribute of the man and his movie.

As they say themselves... "it’s one we remain deeply proud of here at BLURT, unquestionably one of the best we’ve ever had the pleasure to present."
