Wow...how disappointing and unfortunate.
You should be fine on Ebay...except you will probably be out shipping.
Man, the greatest too good to be true fear
Merry Christmas!

Yep, it's a rare lefty of the 50th anniversary model.
Unfortunately, as it turns out, there is a problem to get the neck of the guitar straight since the truss rod can't be further tightenend (also, worn truss rod nut). I have had two luthiers and one guitar technician look at the problem all of whom recommended that I either return the guitar (the seller denies any- and everything) or to get a new neck custom made.
I will have my personal luthier look at it as well whether or not all hope with that neck is lost to decide any further course of action.
Since I bought this guitar on eBay, eBay buyer protection will have to work extra shifts this time around.

Congrats...left-handed?
Seems to have been very well taken care of, as much as it was played.

I had been hunting down a genuine 50th Anniversary (2-tone sunburst, gold hardware) for a while now, and alas! a potential seller turned up in England. The deal was closed fairly quickly, the delivery lightning fast.
She was used but well maintained throughout, no blemishes. She just requires a fret job of some kind, some maintenance (two loose intonation screws, some corroded pickup screws due to sweat, needs its tremolo blocked a la Clapton) and a professional setup. The sound of the FCN pickups (50's Fender tone but noiseless) and the S1 switching (creamier, humbucker-like) never disappoint no matter the pickup position you're in.
