Glen Campbell's Teisco “Monkey Grip” T-60
Re: Glen Campbell's Teisco “Monkey Grip” T-60
Great find Jay. Some 20 years later the brothers were Glen’s guests on the Glen Campbell Music Show.

Re: Glen Campbell's Teisco “Monkey Grip” T-60
Glen played on sessions for the Everly Brothers as early as March 1962 and as late as September 1967. Read more about it here for instance: http://www.everly.net/file/disco/ebonwb.pdf.
And yes Jay, Glen also played on Bowling Green for the Everly Brothers on March 22, 1967. It's probably where he got the idea to record it himself, which he did on May 17 1967, the same date as Gentle on My Mind.

Looks like you are spot on DMVawter. There are several shots of Glen that are attributed to sitting in on the Everly Brothers sessions in 67. And that one is one of them "Don Everly in the studio with Glen Campbell (1967)" Maybe the Hit Sound album? Maybe sitting in on Bowling Green, which he later released? Fun stuff. Thanks for the post!

You know, you could very well right about that! Nice one. Glen did play on some of the mid-sixties albums by The Everly Brothers.

Is that Don Everly in the third photo from the bottom?

In Baby, The Rain Must Fall, Steve McQueen is a troubled singer (whose band includes Glen Campbell) recently released from prison. This is Glen Campbell's film debut, in an uncredited role in which he used his Teisco T-60
