These are enlightening articles, I believe, about Alzheimer's disease. Thanks to Glen and his family, there is now more public awareness of this horrible disease and the lessons learned from it and what we yet need to learn and accomplish in order to avoid a major, widespread health crisis in the very near future. These issues are an important part of Glen's legacy now. With this part of Glen's legacy in mind, I will be focusing my time on another platform that will be dedicated to this subject matter.

True Grit Café in Ridgway, Colorado, USA?

I have eaten there several times. Not the best breakfast in town...but a good choice, if you are going to eat in Ridgway, for lunch or supper. There are quite a few artifacts left from the movie in that area that are accessable by car. There is no prettier place to be found around the first of October, give or take a week. I will be in that area for sure during that time and will make sure to get a shot of Matties homestead for the board. You have to trespass to catch it in the frame that opens the movie...but even being locked up in Telluride for a week wouldnt be bad...

Brian Wilson on his music, biopic & 'genius'
The Beach Boys' mastermind and veteran solo artist discusses his new album, upcoming feature bio-film and more.

Movie trailer and interview that includes a quote by Glen regarding Brian's genius as a musician and songwriter:
“Brian was a genius,” agrees fellow Wrecking Crew member Glen Campbell, who also played on “Pet Sounds” and toured in Wilson’s place with the Beach Boys. “He was as good at putting things together (musically) as anyone I’ve ever seen.”

Planning a trip to "True Grit country"? You might want to visit the True Grit Café in Ridgway, Colorado, USA!

"The True Grit Café was built to honor the filming of the academy award winning movie 'True Grit' starring John Wayne. Come sit on the deck and look out at the beautiful background you'll see throughout the movie. Oh, and you'll see a lot of pictures of the great star's film legacy all around." (From http://www.truegritcafe.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

For more information about this "watering hole", visit: See: http://www.thewatchmedia.com/true-grit-cafe-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Anyone been here?

Thanks for posting, Chumley. Yes, this is tragic news about Kane.
I remember seeing him as a baby on the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.

News about Jim Barber's well-deserved honors and also an upcoming appearance. Some of you may know Mr. Barber from when he performed with Glen at the Goodtime Theater in Branson.
