Glen did an LP/CD with Barbara Fairchild. Anyone have this in their collection? Write up booklet is included. One hint, from the 90's?

There is another great outside concert, airdate is July 14, 1974 from Louisville, Kentucky. This concert is sponsored by who? And, Glen does15 tracks. Who is the Host, any clues?

YES, I have Both. The outside concert is an hour long......

Alabama Jubilee with Glen Campbell--if you key this in on u-tube you will see that Sonny James is the host and it basically is also a variety show. If Mod will allow this link, it is awesome to watch Glen Campbell! This "SONG" Alabama Jublilee was done by many but I think this show was a spin off of Star Route-or could have been the other way around! After all these shows, then they had "The Melody Ranch" which was in the 60's on. Also Glen had his show and a great run that was. And then Glen followed with The Glen Campbell Music Show in the 80's.

All I can say is Glen was a busy guy from the age of 13-14 till last year! He was needed, loved by many and in GREAT demand all over the world, and thank God for that! The best part of this is Glen never said no! Watch his face in the video-you will love it.

By the way-those that remember all The Shindig Shows, Star Route was just like that. It also got the young ones started in a career!

Star Route TV show circa 1962. Hosted by the rugged actor Rod Cameron, this weekly syndicated TV program is an essential collector's item if it is available. The only place I found these were U-tube. So this was on every week. As far as Glen goes this is what I know.

1964 show STAR ROUTE(musical variety) Faron Young, Collins Kids, Glen Campbell, Carl Smith, Sonny James, Skeeter Davis, Leroy Van Dyke.
Star Route went into Syndication in 1964, hosted by Rod Cameron. Some might still be around but I am sure they are boolegs!

Tapes include
1)w/Glen Campbell, George Morgan, The Collins Kids 30 min B/W EXC #321B
2)w/Glen Campbell, Bob Luman 30 min B/W
3)w/Glen Campbell, Leroy Van Dyke 30 min B/W
4)w/Glen Campbell, Skeeter Davis 30 min B/W
5)w/Glen Campbell, Roger Miller 30 min B/W
6)w/Glen Campbell, Bill Anderson 30 min B/W
7)w/Johnny Cash, Tennessee Three 30 min B/W
8)w/Rex Allen Jr., Glen Campbell 30 min B/W
9)w/Sheb Wooley, Glen Campbell 30 min B/W
10)w/Hank Thompson, Glen Campbell 30 min B/W
11)w/Faron Young, Glen Campbell, Collins Kids 30 min B/W
12)w/Carl Smith, Glen Campbell, Collins Kids 30 min B/W
13)w/Sonny James, Glen Campbell, Collins Kids 30 min B/W

Key in Alabama Jubilee on you tube. Star Route was a TV variety show I think, and it not only had Glen, but Roger Miller and so many more people that there are too many to list. If you key that in you will be amazed how many hits you get as I was quite young when it came out. Would have to research on that Alabama one to see if it was a local/national show...

I dunno, Arlw...the stage set looks different from Star Route's, you think? But, I haven't seen all of the Star Route episodes. How many were there?

Can you please tell us about "Alabama Jubilee"? Sounds like a local program and not a national one. I haven't heard of this show and would love to know more about it.... Thanks!

Thank you for checking, Arlw! I really appreciate your research time!

Yes, isn't that the coolest video of Glen? I thought originally that it might be pre-sixties. However, by watching Wanda on her late 1950s videos, I'm guessing that this particular Let's Have a Party vid is from the early sixties--based on her hair style and dress--and the stage set and camera movements. Also, the guitar Glen was playing seemed to be a clue, too, for dating the video. Would love to know the actual date and name of the program.

GC was having a "grand time", as my Grandmother used to say, wasn't he?

Dee,

I am going to take a stab at this one. Of what I researched with Wanda Jackson, I can't find anything to back up Glen Campbell on those 2 new releases of hers.

That "Lets Have A Party" is really cool!
