Mr. Glen Campbell is interviewed on this bbc4 program about one of the queens of country, Miss Bobbie Gentry.
Says Glen Campbell,,,Bobbie never would tell him what was thrown off the Tallahatchie Bridge in The Ode to Billie Joe!
Isn't it funny he asked her that question, too?
Mr. Campbell addresses rumors of an affair between the two.

12 String Dobro! Tut Taylor and the folkswingers with 12 string guitar (World Pacific)

Here's a gorgeous transfer from vinyl to digital of this studio album (aka studio project) released in 1964. Sounds like the stereo LP, not the mono, to me; what do you think?
Glen Campbell plays a 12-string guitar on at least one track: Side 2, Track 3, "Tall Bottle"; perhaps other tracks?
Tut Taylor is on a 12-string dobro.
The Folkswingers were a studio musicians band or group in name only with members who changed from project to project.

Yeah Dee, Glen made this song his own. He gave it such a strong driving rhythm, which gives the song so much more energy and toe tapping qualities. Like Galveston he heard it and made it something completely new and fresh.
This was from the Wembley Silk Cut festival as I recall which was broadcast on the BBC. This clip was shown later in the series because so many people contacted the BBC and requested to see more of Glen's performance. That didn't happen with any of the other artists.

"I Love How You Love Me" is a song written by Barry Mann and Larry Kolber. Part of the song's amazing back story is Kolber wrote the lyrics within five minutes -- on a restaurant napkin! Glen Campbell released his beautiful cover in 1982 on OLD HOME TOWN, his thirty-ninth album. Songwriter, singer and record producer Jerry Fuller produced this album for Glen, and Jerry and his wife provided background vocals! The LP included a {{{POWERHOUSE}}} of talent:
