Thanks for posting Randy. I was especially impressed with Keith's guitar playing and the way Toby Keith sang By the Time I Get to Phoenix. Good stuff!

The tribute video is such good video quality and so good wanted to share it again, and have watched it many times. Was just thinking how cool it would have been at the end of "Rhinestone" if Ashley would have done the "And Cowgirlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll" part.

Glen Campbell Talks With Pat Boone (1985)
Uploaded to breautube on YouTube...the most satisfying thing for Glen in his career, Glen's gospel recordings, the very first song he remembers singing as a child in Billstown, his music video "Letter to Home", and more.

Yes Cowpoke, it certainly seemed like that was the case. Not sure of the story though, perhaps some one in the production team brought it in so they could get Glen to play on it. I know I would have.

Yes very nice clip. Do I understand it correctly that they somehow got Glen one of this own classic Ovation models for him to play on during the show?

Thanks for posting this clip Dee,
I saw this when it was originally aired on Breakfast TV. I haven't seen it since till now. What a wonderful moment in time.
I loved seeing Glen during this period. He had cleaned up his act, shaved and seem to lose 20 years. When I saw him in concert it was so much more exciting as it felt like seeing him from the sixties/seventies period. sadly,I was too young to see Glen during his earlier tours. When he came on stage he seemed so full of energy and enthusiasm and his voice had improved after giving up drink and smoking. As Glen also mentioned himself,he had come to the decision that this was what he wanted in life and what would make him him the happiest. There was a time he was just going through the motions and being tuned out of the performance. ( a bit like driving to the office each day, I would imagine. "How did I get here, I don't recall the journey").This was when he started do do the solo section in his tour, which I loved, which I think showed his renewed level of engagement with the audience. Everyone loved A thing called love and Streets of London etc. Happier days for Glen and all his fans.
