wouldn't it be wonderful if all Glen's songs that were only sung on TV shows were made into an album of "The lost recordings". That would be fantastic, with a bonus DVD to go with the CD. A bit like the Jimmy Webb/Glen Campbell sessions package.

Thanks for posting the Villagers' cover of WL, Cowpoke. What do you think of it?
The link below is for a similar announcement about the Villagers' new cover -- but with a great subtitle:
"Anyone with a functioning pair of ears will be aware of what a timeless song Glen Campbell's 'Wichita Lineman' is."

Glen Campbell's got a secret!
Check out this RARE video!
Thank you, breautube!!!! Happy New Year to you!
(If you want to play along with Glen on this game show, don't look at the video (which flashes the "secret" on screen that the contestants attempt to discover) until you hear the first question).

Wow, that is one great performance of Wichita Lineman, Randy.
I can see why you thought of Carol Kaye's quote.
Other artists on stage couldn't help but join in. Kris' face reflected the soul of this song and Glen's performance, you think?

"And he starts singing, and when he starts singing the hair kinda stands up on my arms. Oo this is deep" I'm reminded of this spot on Carol Kaye quote watching this and looking at the faces of the stars here.
