In case you haven't seen "Glen Campbell In Concert", here is the video. It has been posted on YouTube. I had meant to post this video earlier because it could be removed by YT, and it is very RARE and EXPENSIVE to purchase on the secondary market now. This is an all-time favorite concert of many fans!

Description:
Glen Campbell in Concert captures a concert by Glen Campbell with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, performed in The Great Hall of The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences, Sioux Falls, South Dakota on January 10 and 11, 2001. The concert was initially recorded for the PBS television special "Glen Campbell - In Concert", which aired in March 2001. PBS offered a video of the concert for fundraising purposes, including two bonus tracks ("Don't Pull Your Love on Me/Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" and "MacArthur Park"). In the same year, the CD release followed, including three more bonus tracks ("Time in a Bottle", "Let It Be Me" and "Try a Little Kindness") which was only available as concert merchandise. In March 2002, a generally available DVD of the concert was released including all 22 tracks plus some extra features. Thanks for those two video links, arlw!

That second video link that you posted appears to be from the recent Hollywood Reporter's article with video -- Glen recording w/ the Wrecking Crew. It's great, isn't it? Directly from the film, yes. And with three Wrecking Crew members!

Here's the new discussion that just started on the two different versions of this song: http://www.glencampbellforums.com/viewt ... f=10&t=114" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank you, Randy! I hadn't seen this show either, and, yes, Glen's medley is outstanding!
I don't recall his ever singing those other artists' songs, doing those covers.
How about Glen doing Wilie Nelson's song, Always On My Mind? wow
When he sang "Wind Beneath My Wings", well, you know who I was thinking of. What a perfect song for Glen and the love of his life.
It was wonderful, too, to see the other country artists, all that talent in one show. Unheard of now.
Thanks again, Dee

Glen was on BBC4 again tonight. The documentary "Rhinestone Cowboy" and the 1977 Festival Hall concert is being shown at 1 AM GMT
I only caught the last half an hour of the doc but I must say its a great watch, even after 3-4 views.
Lets hope the BBC put together other programmes like the music show etc.

A real treat for Glen Campbell fans!

Glen Campbell on "The Chris Isaak Hour", original air date March 12, 2009! An outstanding interview that was originally broadcasted on U.S. cable television's Biography channel. Music performances by Glen Campbell and his band that included Ashley, Shannon, and Cal.

About doing this show with Glen, Chris said: "...I hadn't played with Glen Campbell before, and that was a thrill." (http://laist.com/2009/03/05/laist_inter ... _isaak.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
