Good question, Cowpoke.

From Wikipedia, Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media:

"The award is presented to the artist or artists of a majority of tracks and/or the producer or producers of a majority of tracks on the album. In the absence of either, then the award goes to the individual(s) actively responsible for the musical direction of the album. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Aw ... sual_Media" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Glen performs 6 of the 10 tracks.
As shown in Rob's discography, Glen and Julian wrote the majority of songs.
And wouldn't it be a bookend moment for both Glen and Jimmy Webb's careers to win for Wichita Lineman? As you know, the soundtrack has the last released recording of WL by GC.
Grammys for the OST could include Glen and the wrecking crew members for the film version of I'm Not Gonna Miss You.

The Executive Producers were Scott Borchetta and James Keach.
The Producers were Julian Raymond and Dann Huff.

I wonder who is the actual nominee? I know a compilation album Glen contributed to, called Sesame Country, which was awarded a Grammy in 1981. I believe only the producers received a Grammy for that. But sometimes I believe the performers can also receive an award??

The fact that Ashley released "Remembering" on a single could help, too, you think?
Two other songs from the soundtrack were released as singles but these songs have already been performed at award shows.
(But what do I know? lol)

That would be wonderful news if Glen and the other artists picked up that award. It would also generate renewed interest in the film.

Would be really special if Ashley deservedly could sing "Remembering" there in honor of Glen. The song is award worthy in my opinion.

Heartwarming to see how the Grammy people keep honoring Glen. Whereas the LA based country music scene (ACM) has ignored him and the Nashville based country scene gave him a last (not entirely fitting) tribute performance in 2011, the Grammys have been giving him some well deserved time in the spotlights from 2012 on.
