Yw Shelia. I thought it was kinda confusing too the way it was worded. Don't wanna post over your very nice Chirstmas card picture from Glen and Kim Campbell but so very nice to see. Thanks for putting that up Dee.

thanks Randy. That sounds better than Glen being 12. I'm sure at that time as he used to say, he was still looking at the north end of a south
bound mule!

I have a question about the remark that Glen appeared with the Symphony when he was 12? I have never saw anything in print about this before,
don't recall reading it in Glen's book or Debby's book and as I recall at this age Glen was still on the farm in Arkansas.
He hadn't even moved yet to his brothers in Houston. Seems to me this would have been an extra special event in Glen's life and should have been
mentioned in his book. Don't want to burst any bubbles but just wonder where this TK got his info?

I thought this reference to Glen Campbell was interesting: he performed with the Nashville Symphony when he was 12 years old.
This performance by a young Glen was brought full circle when Ashley Campbell performed two songs, one being Gentle On My Mind, at a 2015 patrons event for the symphony.

Great, Randy!
I'm sure they would be honored for a long-time Glen Campbell fan from Arkansas to visit the gallery.
Now, someone from Baltimore, maybe not. LOL

Just read this article.....".Local artists will be encouraged to contribute works to the gallery that will both inspire and help educate visitors on the impact of dementia on families." So maybe they wouldn't mind visitors. I'll check and see.

Not sure if or when I will go by there but maybe. With it being a medical care facility , that would make me a little hesitant. Funny thing is when I was on the fire dept. no telling how many times I made calls to that complex which consists of retirement centers and a nursing home. I still remember all the different addresses down there and where the fire hydrants are and sprinkler/standpipe connections.
Looks like Carl Jackson to me Dee.

Thank you, Randy! Loved seeing many Campbell family members at this opening and hearing Glen's sisters sing.
I felt that Kim was still positive about Glen's overall health although it must be very painful for her and the family to see that Glen can no longer understand what people are saying to him.
Will you visit the new Glen Campbell Art Gallery?
If so, perhaps you can tell us more about the gallery from a fan's perspective.
I am very curious to learn more about Stephano's painting and the interesting black and white photo of "Glen Campbell and his siblings". (Isn't Carl Jackson in this photo?)
