This might be a film to watch for....Glen had many ties with the great Billy Mize:

'Billy Mize and the Bakersfield Sound' -- Loving tribute to the silky-voiced country singer and songwriter (review): Cleveland International Film Festival 2015

Wasn't Billy Mize the host of "Melody Ranch", a late sixties American television show on which Glen performed several times?

Thanks for those links, Cowpoke.

This link is to an article that had been published in The Sunday Times, Singapore. It's a sweet tribute story written by a son about his father's life with a very brief mention of GC's music.
Glen's music reached/reaches all corners of the world.

See:

Thank you for the music, dad

Glen Campbell: Pebble Beach Cowboy

Very interesting interview from 2003 because the reporter doesn't ask the same old questions for once.

I haven't seen this interview before so I'm posting it.

I consider this man to be the very best of the best of what he does and I'm so very glad Glen and Julian came together !!!

Great interview with Cal. He tells it like it is. The state of today's music industry must be so frustrating for people with real talent who can't get their music "out there".
Thanks for posting this interview link, Randy.

Cowpoke, is that Crook & Chase interview available on that link? I would love to hear it.

Here is an update about a Billy Mize movie that is in production: "Billy Mize and the Bakersfield Sound". See: http://www.billymizemovie.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Glen appears very briefly in one video ("Billy Mize and the Bakersfield Sound Trailer") in a very short clip from "Melody Ranch", a television show that Billy Mize emceed. Glen appeared at least several times on Billy's show.
See: http://www.billymizemovie.com/videos/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The full performance by Glen on the episode shown in the movie trailer is posted on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCIcCEOpfaQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The film is "in the can but not finished"; a DVD can be pre-ordered, but I think that I will wait this one out until the film is released. Like the documentary, "The Wrecking Crew", it is taking time to obtain rights to use songs and videos.
