True. Glen's condition was up and down during this tour. They would have some bad nights and then suddenly Glen was back, like he is here on July 2012, at the Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield, Missouri.

The Goodbye Tour
The Goodbye Tour
I got a notice last week that 12 years ago, on Feb. 15, 2011, Glen began the Goodbye Tour.
I looked into it and some reference articles list August 31, 2011 as the first show. The last show, really is not disputed...finished on November 30, 2012 in Napa.
So the # of shows would also be disputed, I assume. Generally, It was around 150, it seems. Or maybe more.
Regardless...what a torrid pace and schedule at about 1-2 a week, to 1 every other night....some nights were back to back.
And, for the most part, they toured like Willie...on a bus, with limited help.
An astonishing commitment by his family and band, that few acts would consider undertaking.
