Indeed Dee, two great links to those articles. Lol , my vocabulary suffers as I had to look up the word "mellifluous" in the second link describing Ashley's vocals...Also read the sweet comments you left on Ashley's facebook page. So kind of you to do that...

Another Grammy for Glen Campbell, I'll Be Me last night! I can't believe my song is part of a Grammy winning album. It's bittersweet. I miss my dad. I just want to make him proud.

Yes, I think the Academy got it right, too!
Now, this article seems to have gotten it wrong...as if the album focused on an ailing performer and thus received the GRAMMY, as in "pity vote"? HA!

The soundtrack from "Empire" seemed like a sure thing in this category. The original music for the Fox drama has been a standout for the past year, and that gave it 8/11 odds of prevailng. But with its focus on a musical legend who can no longer perform, the documentary soundtrack about Campbell's last tour turned out to be the champ anyway despite odds of 10/3.

Glad to see the Grammy's get it right in my biased opinion.. I actually got confused between the Grammy's and Oscars...I didn't watch the show and hope I didn't miss something and if I did hope it hits the internet somewhere. I'm with Phyllis, congrads to ev1 involved!!!

So, Randy....
What do you think about who will actually be receiving the Grammy trophy and "name(s) listed in the record books" for winning tonight?
I am so hoping that ALL of the artists and Julian Raymond receive grammies.
There isn't a weak track on the album, imo....
