Interesting....

Back in February of 2015....This was part of an article about Glen possibly winning an Oscar...
Among those rooting for Campbell come Sunday night is Elton John, who recently said of “I’m Not Gonna Miss You”: “This is not only the best song nominated; it’s one of the most beautiful songs of all time.”

Elton discussing this album

Not much was said about Glen. Hopefully, he will be asked about it before the album is released.

Wow this is very cool. I also hope that Elton John will elaborate on why he decided to record this duet with Glen. Is he like Paul McCartney, a Glen fan? 😁

Glen and Elton John Collaborate on Elton's The Lockdown Sessions

Post by jay »

Elton John has announced the forthcoming release of “The Lockdown Sessions,” an album of collaborations recorded remotely over the last 18 months, out October 22, featuring more than 20 collaborators, including an apparently posthumous duet with country legend Glen Campbell, singing I’m Not Gonna Miss You.

Hopefully, we will get a preview of what this collaboration will sound like before October 22.
